Mac OS X, Palm, and PearPC

Well.....

So I finally received my beautiful Apple iBook. It is wonderful, perfect and nice.

The problem? My Handspring Visors (Edge, Prism) can not sync with the Apple!

Why, you might ask, do these venerable handhelds not work with my Apple?

Because Palm's Palm Desktop and HotSync Manager is a piece of junk and will not install. I have gone through everything I can with no luck trying to install the blasted program.

So what am I doing? I am installing PearPC on my new computer, making a disc ISO image of my Mac OS X installation DVD on my mac, and trying to install Palm Desktop on this machine.

Right now I am waiting for the 3 GigaByte CDR image of my installation DVD to be converted into an ISO image on my Mac courtesy of hdiutil.

This is what one does when one has too much time on one's hands.
